My Maternity Pics!
Hello sweet Humans,
It’s nearing the end of summer, and that means it’s almost time for me to have a baby. I am so excited and a bit nervous and SUPER emotional, NBD. I am staying active and also resting a lot. Mostly, I am spending quality time with Ellie and Jamie before our little unit goes from 3 to 4. I have been compiling a list of my favorite maternity picks ( clothes, products, gear, health hacks, etc) and I am so excited to share with you!! Hint hint..my favorite baby products are coming to the blog once baby boy comes … so get ready for that massive list as well. Maybe you are thinking of getting pregnant or have a friend or family member who is, or maybe you are gestating and this is what you have been waiting for since I launched this blog… either way, flag this post so you or someone else you love can have a comfy, CLEAN and GREEN pregnancy.
I even included a workout this week ( that’s preggo safe) so you can stay healthy and strong and happy. Please know I am sending you all the love, now go #beyourbestself
Xoxo, Amy

I have tried a bunch of prenatal vitamins, and this is the one my body and stomach like best. It’s a personal choice- you’ll have to see what works for you, but I am a huge fan of Mary Ruth’s. Splurge worthy dresses. I am wearing one in my blog pic this week. I have a handful of these now, and they are quite possibly my favorite items in my closet. Plus I can wear them all while I breastfeed, and I was wearing one in the Bahamas when I got pregnant! So… they are super versatile- BIG FAN.
Adidas Cloudfoam Slides
Regular shoes just don’t cut it after a few months- then you add a quarantine, and like what else are you doing except trying to walk on a cushion?! I have two pairs of these cloud foam slides, and WHOA are they a party on your foot! They are on sale right now, so go get em and get a pair for someone else as a gift!
Rachel Pally
Rachel’s non maternity wear is so comfy, so you can imagine how great her maternity collection is! I am currently rocking some of her personal hand me downs from her pregnancies- and they haven’t pilled or aged one bit ( fun fact, her and her husband introduced Jamie and I!)! The modal dresses and onesies are so flattering and feel so soft. Now she has linen and all sorts of other fab materials to rock on that hot preggo body!
The Girlfriend Collective
Eco-Friendly is their top priority, and whoa is this activewear brand amazing. Aside from bring super stylish and comfortable- I am currently rocking their maternity workout pants- they make clothes for all shapes and sizes OUT OF RECYCLED WATER BOTTLES, FISHING NET and SPANDEX!! They are sustainable and transparent ( ahem, even their packaging is made from recycled materials).
Expecting Better
The best book for expecting moms. Debunks all the myths and gives you the real deal info you need to know; “What to Expect When You're Expecting meets Freakonomics: an award-winning economist disproves standard recommendations about pregnancy to empower women while they're expecting. From the author of Cribsheet, a data-driven decision making guide to the early years of parenting”
Prenatal workouts with Melissa Wood Health
I desperately wanted to get my prenatal workout series on this year, but between the pandemic and lack of childcare, it just wasn’t possible to record and share the what I envisioned. Luckily…. Melissa has a very similar training style and vibe to me and has some wonderful videos available online. I also like, Tracy Anderson’s prenatal series, the Bloom Method(pre and post natal), Tone it up prenatal series, and Obé’s prenatal platform.
Branch Basics
For your home, your laundry and your life, this is the best cleaning brand I have come across. I felt safe my whole pregnancy using their cleaning products, and I have already washed all of babies newborn clothes and gear in their detergent. You can use this one plant based concentrate for nearly everything and the oxygen boost for the rest. Plus the bottles are reusable, so you don’t throw anything out. No joke, I haven’t thrown out a cleaning bottle in over a year. Use my code BBAMY15 for a discount on your starter set!
Knix
From Pjs, to loungewear, to postpartum wear, to (ahem) leakproof underwear, to bras of all sizes and types this brand has it all. I love their pajamas, I am rocking their robe every day, and I will be wearing their core love high-rise undies for this new postpartum bod. Everything is so comfy!! I highly recommend!
