Postpartum.
Hello lovelies,
I am in baby bliss with my family and feeling so grateful and full of love. While I bond with baby and take care of myself, I wanted to share this incredible interview I did a few weeks ago with Breighl Robbins, founder of Ebi. Ebi is a line of plant based, high quality and effective postpartum products for new mamas. As it says on their website, “Ebi is about unity. The way we show up for ourselves is how we show up for others. Ebi’s mission is to encourage new mothers to make space to care for themselves during the postpartum period. To provide balance in the name of fostering true connection. The connection between mother and child, mother and community, and communities with the broader society. We are committed to advocating for all mothers before, during, and after pregnancy. We hope to bring more awareness to the individuals and organizations working for the betterment of all mothers and engendering conversations about the current state of motherhood in America.
I’ll be back soon, in the meantime, check out my fave postpartum lentil recipe and my currently crushing on section. Hope you are staying healthy and strong and happy. Please know I am sending you all the love, now go #beyourbestself
Xoxo, Amy

Simple Lentils ( my fave postpartum food to bring to a new mama and what I am eating now)
INGREDIENTS:
•1 cup Lentils ( I use green but any varietal is fine)
•1 cup water
2 cups Bone Broth
•4 cloves Garlic chopped or smashed
•1/2 Onion
•4 carrots
• 4 stalks of Celery
•Bay Leaf
•Salt and white pepper
•Olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
Rinse Lentils
Chop veggies and Garlic
Saute Garlic and onion in olive oil, add salt and pepper, add carrots and celery, add lentils and bay leaf. Cook for a few minutes. Add bone broth and water, and more salt and pepper. Let come to boil, lower heat and let cook for an hour or until most of the liquids are soaked up.
Let cool and puree, smash or leave chunky! Add salt and pepper to taste. I like to top with greek yogurt and sliced avocado!
